imtoken will never ask for your seed phrase, private key or verification code. Always review the address, network and request details before transferring, signing or approving.

Updates

This page collects product notes, network reminders, security guidance and service notices from imtoken. When a reliable date is not available, information is presented as a standing notice rather than as fabricated news.

Product Notice

Use the imtoken download page for download actions

Download actions across the site lead to the dedicated download page and require a deliberate user click. Ordinary content pages do not expose alternate final download targets.

If the download service is temporarily unavailable, return to the site to review wallet setup, network selection and security guidance. Avoid installation files reached through unsolicited messages or unverified links.

Network

Re-check balance, gas and destination after changing networks

Each network maintains its own balance, gas asset and transaction history. Similar-looking addresses across EVM-compatible networks do not make assets automatically transferable between them.

Before a transfer or DApp transaction, confirm the active network and token contract. After submission, retain the transaction hash and verify status on the correct network explorer.

Security Notice

imtoken will not ask for seed phrases, private keys or verification codes

Stop any request that asks you to provide wallet secrets through a webpage, chat or remote-control session. Support and troubleshooting do not require access to a user's recovery phrase or private key.

For unexpected signatures, approvals or urgent reward prompts, verify the domain, network, contract address and permission scope before deciding whether to continue.

Service

Use the target network's on-chain record as the transaction reference

Interface displays can lag because of node or synchronization conditions. If a balance or transaction looks wrong, confirm the network first and inspect the public record using the address and transaction hash.

A confirmed on-chain transaction generally cannot be reversed by a wallet on its own. Do not repeatedly resubmit the same transfer simply because an interface has not refreshed.

Security Notice

Review DApp permissions that are no longer needed

Disconnecting a DApp session does not necessarily remove an on-chain Token Approval. Allowances are separate permissions and should be reviewed by network and token.

If a contract is no longer used, consider whether its allowance should be revoked. Revocation can itself require an on-chain transaction and gas, so verify the network and contract first.

Verification principle

Notices help explain actions but do not replace independent verification of on-chain state or third-party services. For transfers, signatures and approvals, always review the address, network, contract and request details.
